Here’s a new flick directed by Marlene Rhein called “The Big Shot-Caller” about a stiff, Jamie Lesser, whose social awkwardness leads him to failed relationships and insurmountable disappointments.

Finally the protagonist, David Rhein, turns to his estranged sister, Lianne, “a streetwise, self-proclaimed hip hop dancing dynamo” who inspires him to follow his dream of becoming a salsa dancer and gaining back his self-respect.

The movie will be in selected theatres on May 15.
