Giorgio Armani and Reebok announced last week they’ve teamed up to create special collections for EA7, the Italian fashion line’s activewear, combining Armani’s sexy style with Reebok’s sport and technology, resulting.
The first collections were presented at Milan Fashion Week this month. Distribution will be limited to Emporio Armani boutiques, select Reebok concept stores and preferred retailers worldwide beginning this July.
“Today sportswear and activewear have become really important parts of our wardrobes. I wanted to offer my customers the possibility of wearing sports clothes that were stylish and comfortable. My new alliance with Reebok is a natural consequence of this philosophy. As with all my collaborations, I am delighted to be working with experts in their field,” said Giorgio Armani in a press release.
Two pop culture icons have joined forces to bring us product collaborations of epic proportions. Adidas and Star Wars have teamed up to produce some fresh sneakers and apparel highlighting characters from the cult classic film that will have both Adidas and Star Wars fanatics frenzied.
The collection is limited and is set to hit stores tomorrow, January 15. In celebration of the product launch the two brands created a cool Death Star Superlaser application where you can preview the collection.
They’re not exactly chancletas but I thought these slick cashmere slippers from Steve & Co. have comfort and style written all over them. Made in Italy, the slippers feature leather inserts and soles. They’ll have everyone who sees them asking “Where’d you get those?”
Twenty-five years ago Michael Jordan laced up his first pair of Nike Air Jordans. Now, a quarter century later, His Royal Airness is releasing his 25th anniversary sneaker nationwide on February 13.
The most notable aesthetic on the 25th anniversary edition is a unique transparent thermoplastic urethane window, shaped as a basketball, providing extra flexibility and subconsciously representing MJ’s competitive psyche.
The sneaker is also designed with a hinged light-weight toe layer which adds strength to the sneaker without losing flexibility. These latest Air Jordans will come in the Chicago Bulls colorways.
Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade will be the first to debut the 25th anniversary edition at NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas this February. Flash is Brand Jordan’s newest member, inking the guard to an endorsement deal after his departure from Converse.
”The celebration of the Air Jordan 2010 and our 25th anniversary are the pinnacle of a year full of milestones for me,” said Jordan in a statement.

In celebration of Reebok PUMP’s 20th year anniversary, the brand is releasing customized versions of the PUMP created by several well respected sneaker retailers including Bodega, Solebox, 24 Kilates, Size? and Colette.
The release date for this kicks are November 20, but don’t expect these limited edition Reeboks to stay on the shelves for too long.
In addition, Reebok has just launched Pump20.com, which is the online home to all-things PUMP. The brand is marking this momentous anniversary with the release of a film documenting the history of The PUMP by cutting edge director Colin O’Toole. The film will be released on November 20th.

Timberland will contribute $2 from every pair sold to Wyclef’s Yele Haiti Foundation to support reforestation in Haiti.
