Michael Vick

We forgive you! That was essentially Nike’s message to convicted dog torturer Michael Vick recently, two years after the company disassociated itself from the dynamic former Atlanta Falcons quarterback.

The Associated Press is reporting that Nike has re-signed Vick to a new sponsorship deal. Vick’s agent, Joel Segal, has not revealed the terms, although he told the SportsBusiness Journal the agreement was limited to the brand’s shoes.

Vick was signed to Nike as a rookie in 2001, but the company severed ties with him after he pled guilty to his involvement in a Virginia dog fighting ring. Upon his release, serving 18 months in federal prison, he was given a second chance by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Here’s an old Nike commercial advertising the “The Michael Vick Experience.”

Royale Flush On King James

Lebron James 1

God bless TMZ, the gossip website got its paws on the much talked about video showing Lebron “King” James getting dunked on by 20-year-old Xavier University baller Jordan Crawford during a pick-up game at James’ Skills Academy camp earlier this month.

Listen to the oohs-and-ahhs as Crawford drives the lane and slams it over James with authority. It was reported that the camp’s sponsor Nike confiscated tapes from people in attendance who may have captured the dunk on tape because Crawford was wearing Adidas apparel – they obviously missed one.

Quickly, ask yourself if you would buy these unique, yet tacky, Nike sneakers emblazoned with Xbox’s logo for a whopping $2,500. I’m sure some aspiring fashionista or video game junkie would.

The custom kicks designed and handmade by Cali-based artist Sole Junkie haven’t even been endorsed by Microsoft or Nike. Supposedly, the Xbox logos located on the patent leather back light up via inserted fiber optics and a hidden switch inside of sneakers tongue. The toes are painted in a Tiger Camouflage and accentuated with lime and bright green.

These exclusive sneakers are a size 11 up for auction on eBay. Check out more on these kicks here.
