The Iron Man sequels are coming to the silver screen and video game consoles. Iron Man 2 will be in theatres in May of ’10 starring Robert Downey Jr. again as the ironclad billionaire playboy Tony Stark. Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansen and Gweneth Paltrow all co-star in the second installment.
Meanwhile, video game lovers can expect SEGA’s release of Iron Man 2 in and around the same time next spring. Well-known comic book author Matt Fraction is in charge of developing the game’s storyline that will include aspects from the movie and comic book series.
The game will be available for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 consoles as well as Playstation’s PSP and Nintendo DS.
After brilliantly taking on the roles of Kirk Lazarus and Tony Stark in last years Tropic Thunder and Ironman, respectively, Robert Downey Jr. returns to don the deerstalker cap and calabash pipe of Sherlock Holmes.
Directed by Guy Ritchie and co-starring Jude Law as Dr. John Watson, this Sir Arthur Conan Doyle adaptation hits the silver screen Chrismas Day. Check out the latest trailer.
Check out the trailer to The Soloist starring Jamie Foxx as a homeless schizophrenic musician from Los Angeles whose dream is to play at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. By chance he meets a journalist for The Los Angeles Times named Steve Lopez (Robert Downey Jr.), who tries to help the musician and accompanies him on in making his dream come true. This movie’s plot seems like it may be on to great things.
