The Fourth Kind is a provocative sci-fi thriller set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where mysterious a disproportionate number of the population have reportedly gone missing every year since the 1960s.

Residents of the town have suspected alien encounters of the fourth kind – abductions. In the movie, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler, played by Milla Jovovich, videotapes sessions with traumatized patients and incidentally documents disturbing evidence of alien abductions.

The film integrates never-before-seen archival footage exposing the horrifying revelations of several witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the validity of which is investigated throughout the film.
